Telegram just recently released an update, which allows you to send files up to 2 GB. On the other hand, WhatsApp lets you share up to 100MB files. So, if user wants to send a very large file, they have to be dependent on WeTransfer or Dropbox. Earlier Telegram offer only 1.5 GB files for file share, and now the size increase up to 2 GB.
What if you are not a Telegram user and not like to download Telegram for only transfer big files. If you are a WhatsApp user and feel like if messaging app should have offered file sharing limit more than 100MB, so here’s what you can do. There is a cloud storage solution like Google Drive. It lets you upload files up to 50 GB in size for free. Even Google offer users 100 GB space for Rs. 130/month.

You can also use Google Drive to share big files on messaging app. Now, WhatsApp allow you to send videos with 16 MB limit in size and regular files up to 100 MB. Users cannot send any file or video more than 100 MB. The only to send big files is Google Drive, you can easily share big files by using messaging app.
How to share more than 100MB files in WhatsApp?
Step 1 : Open Google Drive > tap on the icon “+”, which is located on the bottom right corner of the screen.
Step 2 : Tap on Upload file > select file > Once file is uploaded > see the file on the top of the app.
Step 3 : tap on the three-dotted button > select ‘Copy the link’ > after that the copied link paste on WhatsApp for upload.
