After Mitron, Google removed the ‘Remove Chinese apps’ from Play Store. This app is developed by The one touch applab and Published by Jaipur-based developers. The ‘Remove China Apps’ become more popular after TikTok due to the present tensions between India and China in Ladakh region. Over 50 lakh users downloaded the app from Google Play Store.
Google did not reveal reason why ‘Remove China Apps’ was remove from Play Store. The developers confirmed in their tweet that Google removed the app from Play Store and there is no confirmation that the app came back or not.
The developers claimed for only educational purposes that the apps of Chinese origin when installed in a phone so users using Remove China Apps easily identify the Chinese origin apps and easily delete the apps. According to Google new users won’t be able to download ‘Remove China Apps’ from Play Store, only those user who already have the app can continue to use it. Google also claims that the app not verified by Google so users can use the app by its own risks.
According to Google Developer Policy Center , Google doesn’t allow app that attempt dishonest behaviour to deceive users. The apps must not  able to mimic functionality or warning from the operating system. Any changes to device settings must be made with in user Knowledge and be easily reversible by the user, app per Google Android policy.
Why Mitron app and Remove Chinese Apps removed from Google Play Store ?
Recently, Google removed another app called Mitron. Alternative of TikTok as made in India, Mitron was downloaded by over 5 million users before it was removed by Google. In this case Google again did not reveal the reason for removing the app from Play Store. According to resources Mitron app  is replica of another app called TicTic made by Pakistani software company. So the security analyst targeted the app  for data security and Privacy issues.
This all are happening due India and China tension in the Ladakh region. So the people boycott Chinese app and product.
