How to download the Apple iOS 14 updates:
To download this, you need to head over to Settings on the device. To download watchOS 7 firstly you need to update your iPhone to iOS 14 first.
Now, once you are in ‘Settings‘ scroll down to ‘General‘ and click on ‘System Updates‘.
After, your device automatically finds the iOS 14 and install it automatically. This takes a little bit of time so your device has more than 50% battery.
New features in these updates:
Apple iOS 14 brings new widgets to the iPhone home screen and all-new App Library. This new App Library works on your apps usage-types and to easily find the app you most use. iOS 14 also allows users to change your default email and browser apps.
With Apple iOS 14, incoming calls on your iPhone and Siri are both going to get a new compact UI that does not take up all the screen space when being used. And you can also watch a video or take a facetime call while you are using another app with the new Picture-in-Picture feature.
The new updates gets Apple maps cycling directions, electric vehicle routing and new Guides. Users can also choose to share an approximate location within apps and not the precise location and iOS 14 also gets users more transparency about apps use of your mic and camera.
The biggest update for the iPad with this new update is the enhancement with Apple Pencil, new app sidebar designs. You can now scribble with the Apple Pencil and your handwriting will be converted to text when you writing in any text field.
It brings integration with the HomeKit accessories, support for 4K videos in YouTube and improved multi-user (Game Center and Apple Arcade) and PiP video.
The watchOS 7 update brings long-overdue support for sleep tracking. There are also watch face sharing options and new watch faces. Some good fitness features like the bedtime routine, sleep mode, and handwash detection, etc.
