The company has launched a new budget laptop called “Extensa 15” in India featuring a latest 10th-gen Intel core processor. The laptop comes with 15.6 inch Full-HD 1080p LCD display panel. It is 20mm thin which is best for both personal and business needs. The company said that it give an 8-hours battery life, which should be enough for medium or low productivity. The another feature in Extensa 15 is a BlueLightShield to reduce eye strain when working for long hours continuously.

The latest laptop comes with 15.6-inch 1080p LCD backlit TFT display with Acer Comfy View high brightness feature and Intel UHD Graphics. There is another feature of BlueLightShield to cut the blue light to reduce strain on eyes. The Extensa 15 is powered by latest 10th-gen Intel Core i3 processor (turbo speed up to 3.40GHz) paired with 4GB DDR4 RAM, although the RAM will be expandable up to 12GB using single SODIMM module. There is 1TB of NVMe SSD storage as well. To expand the storage externally, there are two USB 2.0 ports and one USB 3.1 port. In addition, it has a LAN port, HDMI port and 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Acer Extensa 15 runs Window 10 Home, For video calls which is very popular during Covid-19 pandemic the Acer Extensa 15 has 480p webcam on the top bezel of the display, there is no shutter to cover the camera, which is important and many companies manufactures have started using to ensure the privacy. The laptop has all connectivity like Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth v4.2. There is also an in-built microphone on the side and stereo speakers on the laptop without any extra software enhancements for best quality sound. The weight of the laptop is around 1.9kg and comes with duel-cell Lithium-ion battery that is rated to deliver an 8 hours life with 45W AC adapter.

The Acer Extensa 15 is listed at a price of Rs. 31,490 for the base model with 4GB RAM and 1TB of NVMe SSD storage. The company has not revealed the availability of product on online platforms. It will be available on Acer E-store and offline Acer retails shops across the country soon.
